My Mum Makes is bringing the energy and flavours of a bustling Thai street market straight to the Buttermarket.

Using family recipes passed down by mums from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Natchaya serves up bold flavours, authentic ingredients and plenty of smoky wok magic.

Everything is cooked fresh, full of heart and made with a whole lot of love – the kind of food that turns a quick visit into a “stay for one more bite” situation.

Born in Bangkok, rooted in Cornwall

Meet Natchaya

Smiling woman with dark hair in braids, wearing a bandana and apron, standing behind a food allergy information sign on a counter in a kitchen or food service setting.

Growing up in Bangkok, Natchaya learned to cook by watching her mum run family restaurants, where quality ingredients and traditional methods were part of every dish.

Today, she brings those same recipes and techniques to the Buttermarket, sharing authentic Thai flavours that celebrate the joy of cooking from the heart that she’s uncovered from the Cornish food festival circuit.

Sample Menu

Vietnamese spring roll with white rice, red chili slices, cucumber, salmon, and creamy dipping sauce, served on decorative paper with the restaurant's logo.
