You pick the tunes. We’ll sort the drinks.
All Request Friday is your weekly excuse to kick off the weekend with a drink in hand and complete control of the soundtrack. Scan the QR code, request your favourite song and see what happens next.
Expect pints, cocktails, street food and a playlist that could go absolutely anywhere. Guilty pleasures encouraged. Questionable requests accepted. Friday nights are officially yours.
Friday Lates

Every third Friday | from 8pm until late
Friday night just got a little louder.
Friday Lates is our monthly excuse to clock off, grab a drink and get stuck in. Expect big tunes, DJs, cocktails, cold pints and plenty of reasons to stay for one more.
The courtyard becomes the place to be, with a different theme and soundtrack every month, plus all the street food you need to keep you going.

Young Makers Market

Meet the next wave of creatives at our Young Makers Market.
Showcasing talented under 25 year olds, the stalls will be packed with original art, handmade ceramics, prints and plenty of brilliant ideas brought to life.
Expect proper market stall energy, creative flair and a chance to support emerging makers!

Pasties, pints, crimping and a whole lot of Cornish fun.
The Buttermarket is your street food hub for the International Pasty & Mining Festival, serving up plenty of good food and drink alongside live music, kids’ crafts and two very serious (sort of) competitions.
Think your pasty has what it takes? Enter our Grand Pasty Tasting Competition, with four categories:
Best Professional Traditional Cornish Pasty
Best Amateur Traditional Cornish Pasty
Most Creative Edible Pasty
Best Family-Made Pasty
Entries can be dropped off in the Buttermarket courtyard between 12 to 2pm on the day, with a panel of local judges taking on the difficult job of tasting and choosing the winners.
Come hungry, bring the family, bring your best crimp and settle in for a proper tasty day out.
Pasty Festival : The Party!

Join us at the Buttermarket for Pasty Festival: The Party - an evening of street food, cold pints and live music in the courtyard from Sunny Side Up and 3 Daft Monkeys Duo.
Grab a plate, grab a pint and settle in for a proper knees-up, with bands bringing the soundtrack and our kitchens serving up all the good stuff. Street food, cold beer and live music in the courtyard.

Get ready for a Greek island-style party at the Buttermarket as we celebrate the arrival of Little Greek Grill with a night of food, cocktails, live cabaret from Haarts Productions and plenty of Abba-inspired singalong favourites.
The courtyard is getting a Mediterranean makeover, with Little Greek Grill taking centre stage alongside all your favourite Buttermarket kitchens.
Expect Greek-inspired cocktails, cold beers, good food and a live soundtrack packed with feel-good classics that'll have the whole courtyard singing along.
Come for dinner, stay for the dancing, and bring your best holiday energy.
