You pick the tunes. We’ll sort the drinks.
All Request Friday is your weekly excuse to kick off the weekend with a drink in hand and complete control of the soundtrack. Scan the QR code, request your favourite song and see what happens next.
Expect pints, cocktails, street food and a playlist that could go absolutely anywhere. Guilty pleasures encouraged. Questionable requests accepted. Friday nights are officially yours.

Friday night just got a little louder.
Friday Lates is our monthly excuse to clock off, grab a drink and get stuck in. Expect big tunes, DJs, cocktails, cold pints and plenty of reasons to stay for one more.
The courtyard becomes the place to be, with a different theme and soundtrack every month, plus all the street food you need to keep you going.

Sunday Soundtrack is your weekly Sunday at the Buttermarket!
Street food from our independent kitchens, drinks from Earles Bar, and an easy-going soundtrack from familiar Buttermarket resident musicians.
It's quickly become the spot for long lunches, easy afternoons and catching up over good food. Kitchens serving from 12 to 3pm. See you in the courtyard!

Young Makers Market
Saturday 26th September | 31st October | 11am – 3pm
Meet the next wave of creatives at our Young Makers Market.
Showcasing talented under 25 year olds, the stalls will be packed with original art, handmade ceramics, prints and plenty of brilliant ideas brought to life.
Expect proper market stall energy, creative flair and a chance to support emerging makers!

Lowender
Heritage Expo & Family Ceilidh in the courtyard
Saturday 18th October | 10 - 3.30pm
The Buttermarket is getting a proper Lowender takeover as Cornwall’s Celtic festival brings a day of music, dance, family fun and Cornish culture to our courtyard. Lowender’s 2026 festival is taking over venues across Redruth from 15–18 October, with the Buttermarket as one of its main festival hubs.
From 10am, expect live music, dancing, wrestling displays and a family ceilidh in the courtyard, while the Market Hall hosts Lowender’s Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo.
It’s all free to enjoy, so grab some food, grab a drink and settle in for a proper celebration of Cornwall and its Celtic connections.
Courtyard Late: All Hallows Eve Special

Halloween lands at the Buttermarket for a proper night out in the courtyard. Expect big tunes, spooky cocktail specials, street food and a few questionable costume choices as our DJ No-Sight Stu takes over for the evening.
Grab your mates, get dressed up and come hungry. Whether you’re going all-out terrifying or just throwing on something vaguely witchy, there’s food, drinks and a dancefloor waiting for you.
Costumes encouraged. Cocktails essential. Dancing highly likely.
