From their much-loved seafood bar in Newlyn to the Buttermarket, Nina and Jamie are bringing their fresh, flavour-packed take on Cornish seafood to Redruth.

Expect local fish and shellfish, creative small plates, and Mackerel Sky favourites, from their famous crab nachos to crispy sole with katsu curry sauce.

Mackerel Sky Seafood Bar is known for cooking with the freshest fish available from local suppliers, with menus that change with what's coming in from the sea.

Meet Nina & James

Nina and Jamie moved to Cornwall in 2012 and have been making their mark on the local food scene ever since.

After running Mackerel Sky in Penzance, they opened their Newlyn Seafood Bar in 2015, building a loyal following for their relaxed approach to fresh, local seafood.

Their Seafood Shack followed in 2022, and now they're bringing a little bit of Newlyn to the Buttermarket.
