01 Nov Top Chef Loves Bango Kitchen’s Asian Street Food
Bango Kitchen have been hitting the headlines lately, receiving shoutouts by some real highflyers in the food world.
Bango Kitchen made it onto Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth’s 5 favourite restaurants in Cornwall shortlist. Ainsworth’s restaurant, Number 6 in Padstow, holds a whopping four AA rosettes AND a Michelin star – he certainly knows what he’s talking about when it comes to food!
In an article for the CN Traveller titled “Where the Chefs Eat: Paul Ainsworth’s favourite restaurants in Cornwall”, Ainsworth speaks of his love for Cornwall as well as his personal connections with Howard Sellers and Nick Archers, the brains behind Bango Kitchen, who the top chef worked alongside when launching Travelling Feast, an on-the-move food festival.
Not only does Ainsworth praise Bango’s ‘delicious Asian-inspired food’ but he says they are ‘two of the nicest chaps you could ever wish to meet’. We too can confirm that the pair behind Bango Kitchen certainly are great. And the food? Well, come and see for yourself… you won’t be disappointed, that’s for sure.
Bango Kitchen also got a shoutout in The Guardian over the summer, where their Asian street food sits alongside selected coastal eateries from across the nation!
If you weren’t already excited enough to sample Bango’s food at the Buttemarket in Redruth, then you must be now! Our tummies are rumbling waiting for Bango’s delicious Asian street food to grace our palates but have no fear – for in just a few days this dream will become a reality.
Paul Ainsworth, if you’re reading this – we’ll see you at the Buttermarket Food Hall on 14 November!
