1. What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten? Chocolate covered ants – so tasty!

2. Where’s your favourite place in Cornwall? The deep woods, empty beaches and high moors.

3. If you were able to meet anyone in the world, past or present, who would it be? My great-grandparents, I’d love to hear their stories.

4. What’s your favourite ingredient to cook with? Best quality, single estate olive oil. The best I have ever tasted was from Morocco in a small village near Amizmiz. I think most of it went straight into my mouth completely avoiding the plate!

5. Can you tell us one of the dishes on your Buttermarket menu? Tacos are the main attraction, but our fish and chicken burgers are insane!

6. If you had a pet seagull, what would you name them? There will never be a time where a seagull will be my pet. I live by the beach…need I say more?!

7. If you could only eat one cuisine for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mexican of course, tacos – everything fits in a taco!

8. What’s your favourite song to play in the kitchen? It depends on the time of day, I love podcasts, Bossa on a Sunday, Jazz in the avo and some old school rock spattered throughout the day.

9. Coffee or tea? Black coffee before 12 and yerba mate after.

10. Which is the best form of potato? Baked sweet potato with goats butter, salt and pepper and a pinch of cinnamon on occasion.
