19 Feb Meet the Pop-up : Little Lemon Crepes
Handmade artisan crepes, crafted fresh using quality local produce and all the familiar favourites, are whisked from scratch and cooked to order for our newest pop-up!
There’s something undeniably joyful about a crepe being poured, swirled and flipped right in front of you – and that’s exactly what Little Lemon Crepes brings to the Buttermarket.
Behind the griddle is a small, passionate team led by a lifelong crepe enthusiast, Julia, who’s been hooked since childhood. What started as a love of sweet treats at home has turned into four years of flipping and serving fresh crepes at events across the country – and now, happily, here with us.
Weirdest thing you’ve ever taken a bite of? After four years at events? I’ve tried some very questionable late-night food trades with other vendors!
Favourite thing to do in Redruth when you’re not cooking? Definitely a trip to Macsalvors
Favourite ingredient to play with in the kitchen? It’s got to be flour.
If you could grab a bite with anyone, past or present, who would it be? I’d love to share a crepe with my grandad – just to see if mine are finally good enough to rival his.
Which dish on your menu sums you up – and why? Anything with raspberries – sweet, tangy, and full of character
Go-to snack? Any!
Favourite tune to blast while cooking? Heart of Gold – Neil Young
Biggest foodie inspiration – a chef, restaurant, place or special plate? France of course!
Top dish you love the most from another Buttermarket pop-up, past or present? The Prawn Pad Thai from My Mum Makes is sensational.
